These instructions will assist you in the proper washing, drying and storage of Nido wool products.

It is important to remember that wool can shrink when undergoing temperature changes underwater. For this reason the recommended water temperature is 30ºC.

HAND WASHING

Turn garments inside out to prevent wear and tear. Soak for 10 minutes in lukewarm (30°C) water (cold or hot temperatures damage the fibres) using soap made for wool and cashmere. Agitate clothing by hand in soaking water; rinse in warm water and blot dry by rolling in a towel. Do not wring clothing. Dry flat on a dry towel or on a rack, reshaping garments.

MACHINE WASHING

Turn garments inside out and place in a net washing bag. Wash on the gentlest cycle in warm (30°C) water (cold or hot temperatures damage the fibres) using soap designed for wool and cashmere. Dry flat on a dry towel or a rack, reshaping garments.

IRONING

Set the iron for "wool" and add water for the steam. Always use heat by steam when pressing and if necessary use a damp cloth.

STORAGE

It is important to make sure that the garment is completely dry before storing and that it is also protected against moths. Packages with dried lavender may be helpful. We do not recommend using mothballs.
